Nintendo Switch official FAQ

Nintendo Switch has launched three days ago and Nintendo team released the FAO for Nintendo Switch console. For these players who plan to buy a Switch, please read this FAQ before purchase it.

1. What’s included with the Nintendo Switch system?

Your new system comes with everything you need to pop in a game and play, including:
Nintendo Switch console
Nintendo Switch dock
1 Joy-Con™ (L) controller, 1 Joy-Con™ (R) controller
2 Joy-Con™ wrist strap accessories
Joy-Con grip accessory
Nintendo Switch AC adapter
HDMI cable

2. Do I need to buy anything extra to play with my friends and family?

You’ll be able to play select games for up to two players with the included Joy-Con (one controller per person).
You’ll also be able to purchase extra controllers for multiplayer games for 3+ players.

3. Can I earn My Nintendo™ points on Nintendo Switch games?

Yes, you’ll be able to earn points in many different ways, including by purchasing games. You can then redeem those points for digital rewards or discounts.

4. Can I play with my friends online? How about locally?

Nintendo Switch supports multiplayer gaming options of all kinds. You can play together online or in the same room using one system or multiple systems.

Specific features vary by game, such as voice chat or split-screen play, but sharing fun with friends and family is a key focus for Nintendo Switch.

Please note that online multiplayer gaming will be free until the paid service launches in fall 2017. Currently, the free-trial period and the paid service will be available for customers in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

5. Can I use my amiibo accessories?

Yes, you can use amiibo™ accessories in compatible games. The ability to scan amiibo figures and cards is built into the right Joy-Con and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

6. Can I watch movies or browse the web on Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch is first and foremost a gaming system, so it won’t support video streaming services or internet browser functionality at launch.

7. How long will my Nintendo Switch battery last?

Battery life can last for more than six hours, but will vary depending on the software and usage conditions. For example, The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild can be played for roughly 3 hours on a single charge.

You can charge the Nintendo Switch console with the included AC adapter (even while you’re playing) or by placing it in the dock.

8. How much storage does it come with, and can I upgrade?

Nintendo Switch comes with 32GB of internal storage, a portion of which is reserved for use by the system. Users can easily expand storage space using microSDXC cards up to 2TB (sold separately).

9. Can I play my old games on Nintendo Switch?

The Nintendo Switch console is an all-new way to play, and will not include backwards compatibility. To stay up-to-date on games that are on the way, visit the game store on Nintendo.com.

10. Are Parental Controls available for the Nintendo Switch console?

Yes, a robust set of options is included to help both parents and kids have the best possible gaming experience.

Parents can set controls on the system, or use the free Nintendo Switch Parental Controls™ app to set restrictions on games and purchases, monitor gaming time, and more.

11. What is the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls™ app?

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls is a free app for smart devices to keep you engaged with your family’s gaming activities on Nintendo Switch.

Using the app, you can view what games have been played on the system and set play timer limits. You can also restrict access to games or navigate to your Nintendo Account where you can restrict spending for child accounts, and more.

12. What’s included in the online service?

The paid online service will include access to online multiplayer gaming, as well as a dedicated smartphone app that connects to your Nintendo Switch system via your linked Nintendo Account to provide an online lobby and voice chat for compatible multiplayer games.

Subscribers will also get to download and play a classic game for free for a month, and will receive discount offers on select digital games.

Please note that online multiplayer gaming will be free until the paid service launches in fall 2017. Currently, the free-trial period and the paid service will be available for customers in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Nintendo Switch unboxing and review

As we know Nintendo team has released their new console -Nintendo Switch on March,3. Some users have received their Nintendo Switch. Many people should want to know what the Nintendo Switch box includes. In this post, we will write about Nintendo Switch unboxing content.

Nintendo Switch: Nintendo new game console

On 20 October, Nintendo released a three-minute video which introduces its new game console-Nintendo Switch. It will come in March 2017.

Nintendo Switch conbines home gaming console and portable console into one unit. At home, Nintendo Switch rets in the Nintendo Switch Dock that connects the system to the TV and lets you play with family and friends. By lifting Nintendo Switch from the dock, it will turn into portable mode. It allows you play games whenever, wherever and with whoever.

Nintendo Switch supports hot-swapping and detachable Joy-Con controllers. Nintendo called each part of controller in each side as a Joy-Con controller.
One player can use a Joy-Con controller in each hand; two players can each take one. One Nintendo Switch allows two players to play games together.

Nintendo Switch supports cartridge and cartridge fans should love it. There is a small holder in the back of Nintendo Switch. More details on the video

This is first new design after NEW3DS XL released with Metallic Black and Metallic. User who want to buy NEW3DS XL can get this new galaxy style console in North America local store. The retail price is U$S199.99.

Anonymous users in twitter tweets hand drawing of NX which indicates that the D-pad design in previous rumor might be cancelled in the final retail product. Besides, there might be share button added in NX, which enables users to upload images or videos to Facebook, twitter or YouTube.

Mini NES Classic Edition features different display modes

Two months ago, Nintendo confirmed that they would release a new game console-mini NES Classic Edition. Now it is reported that NES Classic Edition will has function of different display modes and permanent save point.

According to to the interview of Julie Gagnon- the communications manager at Nintendo of Canada, NES Classic Edition will feature a pixel perfect mode which will display each pixel as a square. It is a very interesting function. NES Classic Edition will also simulate retro CRT TVs and play in classic 4:3 ratio.

It is also reported that all 30 pre- installed games will support permanent save points and instant temporary saves. Players can play games without password and save their game anytime.
